(East Indies - Europe) Route Kaart Bronx Possibly the most 1980's map(East Indies Europe) Route Kaart, Nederland Line Royal Dutch, 1948Sailing from "Soerabaya" (Surabaya) in East Java, all the way back to the Netherlands, this map includes a manuscript sailing route. Leaving on Sept 23 of 1948, past Sumatra, losing a man overboard near Ceylon ("verdronken" drowned), up through the Suez, through the Mediterranean, and back up to Amsterdam. Condition is very good. Image size is approximately 17. 5 x 28 (inches)
